FCC Tool for Mobile Security Threat Alerts

FCC of United States has developed and issued the special tool for users mobile security threats facing most of people who are using mobile phones and lose it in daily routine. These type of thefts causing huge loss to the economy of United States which is associated with cellular phone security related or losing passwords. To tackle with such issues and protecting cellular customers, FCC (Federal Communication Commission) has developed special tool to ward off security threats and called it Smartphone Security Checker with the association with Department of Homeland Security, Sophos and Lookout. This application is available at Android, iOS devices, Windows and Blackberry devices. This tool will save million of users of United States from hacking of their passwords and snatching the smartphones from the Americans, said FCC Rules Chairman Julius Genachowski is his statement regarding Smartphone Security Checker application. Al Jazeera Network Take the Current TV Business

Aljazeera Network of Qatar, who has huge audiences in the Arab countries with full creditability upon its viewers. Aljazeera now announced that they have purchased the Current TV for widening their TV distribution Network with more confident. According to New York Times, the Qatar based Aljazeera has finalizes the deal with Current TV Management which is already available in most of US Homes, Cable, Satellite and IPTV Services. With the acquisition of Current TV, Aljazeera has to do more for getting the audiences for grabbing the viewership of United States TV Customers. The Al Gore and Joel Hyatt has confirmed the deal of Aljazeera and Current TV. As the news for fresh deal of both the companies, Time Warner Cable removed the Current TV from its programming and distribution network.

Microsoft Acquires Startup R2 Studios

Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) has announced that they have acquired the Home Entertainment Technology Company “Startup R2 Studios” to make it better services for their Xbox unit. The id8 R2 Studios was founded by Blake Krikorian in 2011 and now he has to join the Redmond Wash, a software company. With the R2 Studios, Microsoft has acquired patents owned by the said company also which relates to Controlling Electronic Devices. Microsoft did not disclose the deal price of this acquisition yet. Before, acquisition, the R2 Studios engaged with Distributing and Displaying Digital Media on Televisions with latest technology. The other players of Silicon Valley like Google and Apple had also talked with the R2 Studios for getting this deal, as reported Wall Street Journal. However, this deal comes to Microsoft part who want to expand their Xbox services as per Netflix, Comcast Corporation and Time Warner Inc, HBO and Google’s Youtube services and Microsoft will give Xbox Live services for on-demand television programming or Internet Web Videos on TV devices.

Ubuntu OS coming to Android smartphones

Ubunatu Operating System entered into the smartphones OS after Android, Windows. The Ubuntu OS is Linux based software which gives users to run their desktop applications also with their mobile phones handsets at the same time of gadget using. The Ubuntu Operating System will initially be available for Samsung Galaxy Nexus Mobile Phone which will replace the Android Operating System of the smartphone. The founder of Ubuntu, Mark Shuttleworth is already in negotiations with the manufactures of the Android devices to maintain it with pre-installing the Ubuntu OS at the time of manufacturing. The Ubunatu installed phones will be available at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2013 which will be held in Las Vegas.

Apple Files Active Stylus Patent with USPTO

Apple Corporation files their “Active Stylus Patent” with United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) earlier this week. This patent comprise an Electrode at the Tip of Stylus which will be powered by Circuitry coupled Electrode and set for capacitively and will be most costly to manufacture. It is also to be noted here that this patent has not filed with the name of Apple himself but from the Apple employees namely Jonah Harley and David Simon. Now it is time to remember Steve Jobs again because he rejected the Active Stylus when iPhone launched earlier in 2007.
